Ankas Treasures Club
Time: Tues Jan 5th & 19th at 6:30pm

This club is based on the book Ankas Treasures.
Jodie's Ankas Xmas Table Topper class was such
a hit that she decided to continue making the other
wonderful seasonal projects from this book.
Quilters will meet twice a month, for three months,
beginning in January, through March.
Fee: $45 one-time fee, plus book Ankas Treasures

Civil War Tribute Block-of-Month
Time: Shop hours, Weds Feb 24th, Mar 24th & Apr 28th
Fee: $35 commitment fee every 3 months, covers pattern costs.
This is a wonderful sampler quilt, made from
Judie Rothermel's newest fabric line, Civil War Tribute.
Each block pattern includes the history behind
twelve historic battles fought during the Civil War.
Kits will be available for pick-up the 4th Weds of each month,
The kit cost is in addition to your pattern cost.

Sew It Goes Mystery Quilt
Fee: $30 Commitment Fee, to cover pattern costs
Time: During Shop hours, Thurs, Jan 7th OR Sat Jan 9th
and the 1st Thurs & Sat of each month thereafter, Jan-Dec
This is a mystery quilt, designed by Debbie Caffrey
of Debbie's Creative Moments. Debbie has designed
this quilt using only 4 fabrics, dark, dark-medium, light-medium, light.
The finished quilt will measure 57 x 75, without a border, or you
can add a border to make it double or queen size.
Kits using two different color ways will be available, kit cost is $65.

One Day In The Country Block-of-Month
Fee: $37.50 Commitment Fee, Jan - July, to cover pattern costs
Time: 6:30pm, Thurs, Jan 21st & every 3rd Thurs of month thereafter.
This is an Indygo Junction block-of-month. This is a
primitive folk art quilt, using hand applique techniques.
Each months block is based on the season for that month.
The blocks are 17 inches square, finishing at approx. 51 x 68

Remembering Adelia Club
Fee: $65
Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month, for 6 months

This club is based on author Kathleen Tracy's newest book
Remembering Adelia. In 1860 Adelia Thomas lived in
Algonquin Tws., McHenry County. She married Chester E. Bennett on
2 January 1865. Along with Adelia's diary entries & pictures,
are wonderful vintage miniature quilts to reproduce. Each month
we will be making one of the quilts featured in the book.
If you are a quilter who is also passionate about our local history,
join us once a month, beginning Tuesday, Oct 27th at 11:30am

of our American heritage. Lap size quilt, easy enough
for beginner's who have completed our Quilting 101 course.

Free-Motion Quilting
Fee: $15
Time: Sat, Apr 10th at 11:30am

Jodie will show you just how easy it is to free-motion quilt, so if
you would prefer to finish your own quilt tops,
table runners etc, this is the class for you !

Beginners Wool Applique Pincushion
Fee: $10

pincushion from Primitive Gatherings. Pattern & kit required.

Grommet Bag
Fee: $30
Time: Thurs, Mar 11th at 11:30am OR Sat, Mar 27th at 11:30am

This great around town bag measures 10 x 11.
You can make it with double handles, or over
the shoulder with one strap. You will have plenty
of pockets inside to keep everything in its place !
The unique features are the large size grommets
which support the straps. This is an afternoon
workshop, and you should have your bag
completed when you leave, and ready to
make another as a gift ? :)

Quilting 101 Fee: $70
This Class is a 6-Session Course
Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Thursdays: Apr 1st, 8th, 22nd, 29th & May 6th & 13th
OR SATURDAYS,
Mar 6th, 20th, Apr 3rd, 17th & May 1st, 15th
Time: Noon to 2:30pm

For those of you who have basic sewing skills,
and have always wanted to make a quilt, but
have been intimidated to do so without someone to
teach & guide you as you begin, that time has arrived !
This will be a 6 session course for the beginning quilter.
You will learn all the basic skills by the time
you have completed the 6 sessions.
Session #1 will be an introduction to quilting,
with focus on choosing fabrics, proper tools, etc.
Then you will begin to make a different sampler block
in the remaining 5 sessions. When all blocks are completed
you will have what is known as a sampler quilt.
Your sampler quilt can then be used as a wall-hanging
or table topper.

Finishing Class Fee: $10
3rd Friday of the month at 6:30pm
On the 3rd Friday of each month, Jodie
will be at the shop to assist you with your
unfinished projects. So, check your calendar,
and set aside the 3rd Friday evening of the month.

Round Robin Club
Fee: $15 one-time fee
Wednesday, September 23rd, 6:30pm
4th Wednesday of the month thereafter, Sep-May
Instructors: Jodie & Sandie
A Round Robin quilt is one which is passed from club member to club member,
each member adding a pieced border to the "center" block. It starts with
each member creating their desired center block, and will be returned to
them, a completed pieced quilt top, with pieced borders added by each of the
other club members. We already have our first group of seven members, so
sign up now for the second group !
